Katie Black

Katie Black has been a Aquatic Therapy Instructor, Competitive Swim Coach, and Water Aerobics Instructor since 1996.  Katie has developed group exercise programming and taught a variety of classes both on land and in the pool.  Certified as a Personal Trainer in 2003, Katie now focuses on improved physical performance, injury prevention and rehabilitation through land based strength training and functional exercise.

Katie's extensive knowledge of Kinesiology and Physiology allow her to design programs which are safe and effective.  She specializes in balancing muscle groups, improving flexibility and developing lean muscle mass.

Clients include goal oriented individuals of all ages; mostly competitive and recreational athletes ages 14-82. Many are triathletes, runners, ski racers, as well as gym rats, seniors and weekend warriors.

Katie also continues as a competitive and recreational athlete in local volleyball and field hockey leagues and leads and participates in backpacking adventures throughout the United States.
